     CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 202(FIN)                                                                
     "An Act relating to school transportation; relating to the base                                
     student allocation used in the formula for state funding of public                             
     education; and providing for an effective date."                                               
                                                                                                    
The Speaker stated that, without objection, the rules would be                                      
suspended and the bill would be returned to second reading for all

under AS 14.09.010 unless the Department makes the following                                        
finding:  that pupil transportation costs have decreased by an amount                               
proportionate to the decrease in ADM."
